Dr. Rahim Batada D.C., B.Sc
( Family Chiropractor, Acupuncture Practitioner )
Dr. Rahim Batada is the Clinic Director of Complete Care Physio and has been practicing as a Chiropractor and Acupuncture practitioner for over 15 years. Dr. Batada completed his Chiropractic education from Life West Hayward California. Dr. Batada completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University in 2007. Dr. Batada is a Registered Chiropractor and member of The College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
Dr. Batada enjoys an active lifestyle and instills the importance of overall good health with proper nutrition, exercise, and balancing work and family in a healthy manner. He understands the many demands and stress of a busy lifestyle and works with each patient to ensure their optimal health by meeting all of their health care goals in an individual manner that works for them. He enjoys treating people of all ages from all walks of life, and all conditions that involve muscles, nerves, and joints.

Dr. Batada holds special certifications for custom orthotics  and uses a variety of techniques and treatments, such as:

Roopam Joshi

Roopam graduated from Medix College as a Honour roll and is currently registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She has always been a dedicated and passionate therapist. She provides therapeutic treatments for different conditions like sprains, tendinitis, sciatic pain, plantar fasciitis and torticollis. She is well- versed in deep tissue, Swedish, pre and post natal and sports massage. She provides remedial exercises after each treatment for faster recovery. She is fluent in speaking hindi, urdu and punjabi as well.

Tilak is a Registered Physiotherapist with degrees from the RG University of Health Sciences (India) and an advance degree on Health Care Service Management from York University.
Tilak is particularly interested in manual and Exercise Therapy. He has been trained in advanced manual therapy courses. He enjoys helping people of all ages suffering from injury, illness or disability, through exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. His goal is to have an impact on a person’s overall health, happiness and ability to live their life to the fullest.
Mursal Niazi

Mursal went to Seneca College. She has over 15 years of customer service and administrative experience. She has 2 beautiful kids and a caring husband. In her free time she enjoys dressing up her 2 beautiful kids and taking them out for long drives. She also loves to bake, and swim. Mursal worked in a personal injury law firm for 2 years. She speaks fluent urdu, farsi, persian and a little bit of french. She lived in montreal for 8 years and moved back to toronto. Since she joined the clinic team, Mursal has enjoyed meeting new patients and aspires to manage a physiotherapy clinic of her own one day.
Maria Marek, M.Sc, R.Ac, D.TCM, RBT

Maria has always been an advocate for natural healing, wellness and integrative medicine. After graduating from the College of International Holistic Studies specializing in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Quantum Biofeedback, she continued to pursue her passion helping people on their road to recovery.
Maria applies her strong educational background to diagnose and treat virtually any health condition within the realms of Chinese medicine such as acute and chronic pain, headaches, sciatica, insomnia, neurological, gastrointestinal, gynecological, respiratory and psychological disorders.
With a passion for education, Maria went on to complete advanced training in orthopedic cupping and sport medicine acupuncture under the direction of world-renowned sports medicine pioneer, Whitfield Reaves. Additionally, she has pursued training in the unique Exstore system (to test and correct muscle imbalances), Integrated Myofascial release and Muscle energy techniques, Neuropuncture, YNSA-Japanese style of Scalp acupuncture. Furthermore, she has completed Orthopedic acupuncture course with emphasis on all common shoulder, hip and low back conditions, Athletic Performance Enhancement training and numerous TCM courses for internal illnesses.
As a recreational athlete herself, Maria understands the wear and tear being active can have on the body and is experienced treating all types of sports injuries, complex neurological conditions and musculoskeletal pain.
Maria is both caring and passionate in assisting people on their journey to wellness. She is a member in good standing at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario and her services are covered by all insurance companies.
Melanie Hum
( Physiotherapist Assistant )
Melanie is a physiotherapist assistant at Complete Care Physio in Brampton. She has been there for two and a half years. Melanie is also currently a student of The University of Toronto working towards her Masters degree in becoming a registered physiotherapist.
Melanie is into extreme sports and has done eleven years of competitive snowboarding with the Association of Ontario Snowboarders. She spends her free time at Blue Mountain year round whether it be snowboarding or downhill mountain biking.

Allison is a massage therapy student who has been working along side our Physiotherapist as a PTA since 2020. Allison has a passion for helping others recover from injuries and to improve their quality of life.
Edina Bajrektarevic

Edina has been a part of the Complete Care Physio team since 2013. She graduated from Mohawk College and received her diploma in Insurance and Business Marketing. Prior to joining Complete Care Physio she was a property claims adjuster for Aviva Canada and small business broker for Dan Lawrie Brokerage. Edina brings to our team a wide range of insurance expertise, knowledge and great customer service skills. Edina came to Canada in 1995 from Bosnia she is fluent in Bosnian language. She lives with her daughter and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. She enjoys working for Complete Care Physio it gives her joy seeing patients leave pain free.

Abhishek as a Master of Physiotherapy (Orthopaedics & Sports) of RGUHS, Bangalore India in 2006. He has been trained in the Advanced Manual therapy skills through APTEI, where he completed his Diploma in Advanced Orthopedic Physical therapy (Dip. AMPT) and has involved courses with Acupuncture Canada (TCM & Dry Needling) Ontario and human movement specialist, USA.
He specializes in injury rehabilitation, musculoskeletal health preservation, and performance optimization, He provides treatments through his unique application of joint mobilization, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Dry needling, and soft tissue techniques.
During the Initial Physiotherapy appointment, Abhishek will perform a full-body scan to get to the root cause of the problem. He has always been fascinated by the body’s ability to operate as a system, all parts in symphony with one another. His treatment approach is a combination of joint mobilization, myofascial and neural release, acupuncture, therapeutic and corrective exercises, as well as electro-therapy, laser, and R. shockwave as needed. Abhishek works hard to understand you and your goals so as to develop a treatment program tailored to your needs, desires, wishes, and preferences. He is especially keen on empowering clients to learn about their bodies and to find ways to manage their pain, mobility, and fitness from a preventative rather than reactive approach. Although he enjoys working with athletes and sports enthusiasts he also finds particular fulfillment in working with all age groups through a broad range of injuries from acute to chronic.

Complete Care Physio started in 2007 in Hamilton, Ontario. Nowadays, it has grown into 4 clinics located in Hamilton and Stoney Creek/Grimsby,.
